Housing Relocation and Unique Exterior Fixtures

The info from this page says that unique exterior fixtures like the Moogle and Paissa walls will be carried over to the new plot but what will happen if it's a different plot size (cottage to mansion)? Will it be carried over or will it disappear and be turned into a default wall?

We're going to have to wait and find out, but it sounds like it will still carry it over.

Default exterior fixtures will be altered to match the new residential area and plot size, in the event that they are different. Unique exterior fixtures (e.g. Paissa House Wall) will be carried over to the new plot.

So it looks like, if you had a small Paissa exterior, and you moved to a large house, you'd get a large Paissa exterior.

The fixtures will morph into whatever size house you move to. The only possible way to lose anything while moving is if you move from a Large/Medium to a Small plot, in which case you'll lose your upstairs fixtures (since Small houses have no upstairs).

My small Carbuncle wall carried over to my new medium. It was great!
