I have a laptop with a high-res screen (2880x1800), so the game always scales up from a lower resolution (1440x900) to get playable framerates. But this also forces the game to render the UI elements at 1440x900, resulting in ridiculously large and blurry UI.

It seems playing the game at a higher resolution like 1920x1200 gives the UI element size that I want on the screen, but it also renders the rest of the game at those resolutions, halving framerates.

I'd actually like an option to downsize UI elements by 75% or 50%. This should render UI just as if the game were running at 2880x1800, while the actual game is being rendered at 1440x900 then upscaled. This differs from HUD scaling, which upscales rendered elements instead of rendering them at the desired size. You can tell this by enlarging the minimap to 140% and seeing how blurry it is.

Could this be implemented in the future?
