Shirogane FC House / Members with no Stormblood?

My FC is planning to move to Shirogane because DUH!
But will my members that didn't purchase Stormblood be able to access the house?
Apologies if this question's been asked before.

I have inactive members that still come back once in a while during Free Access periods to chat with the other members and catch up.
It's sad if they're not able to "come home" when we move to an expansion gated residential area.

Yes they will be able to access it. They can teleport to it. Or rather they can if you have a thingy to teleport to? Mini Aetherite?

That said. They have to teleport out. As they cannot get to the other SB territories even from it.

This was actually confirmed during the pre-launch information. Shirogane, as a housing area, will be accessible even for ARR only players. Like a base game addition. However, they will not be able to leave Shirogane on foot. The "connecting" area is Kugane, which requires Stormblood and the completion of the first few MSQs in Stormblood proper.

So anyone can teleport to the housing, but not everyone can walk back out. If any new sproutlings are scared about being trapped, they just need to teleport back out.

We've seen some questions pop up since Fan Festival 2017 in Frankfurt where the new residential housing district, Shirogane, was revealed. We'd like to take some time to answer those questions here.

• Can anyone enter Shirogane if they enlist in a free company that has a house there?

  Yes, they can. Any free company member will be able to teleport to the free company house located in Shirogane, so don't forget to set up the miniature aetheryte in your yard! However, please note that players who do not meet the necessary conditions, such as those that haven't entered Shirogane on their own, or those who have not purchased Stormblood will not be able to exit the housing districts to reach the connected areas!

• How would one reach Shirogane on their own?

  You will need to progress in the Stormblood main scenario.

• How would one be able to purchase a plot or an apartment in Shirogane?

  You will need to progress in the Stormblood main scenario. However, as Yoshida mentioned during the keynote, we're planning to make the purchase of land and apartments in Shirogane available after some time has passed since Patch 4.0 release.
