This is a must IMO, SE need to stop relying on player made websites.Removing inactive members is just the bare minimum of what is needed for linkshell administration options...
In 2.0 I would also like to see LS message, a calendar with a way to sign up for LS events. I know people use Linkshell websites to manage that kind of stuff but I would prefer some of it be ingame.
i made a thread on this same topic and that was all the answers i got, sorry it was the wrong answer. thanks for posting that quote, im glad to see it will be sooner then later.
i never played rift but i was told to look at their guild system because it is very nice. so check it out, hopefully 14 will have something like this.

German rep post on this topic:
Thought I'd add that in here.![]()
I saw this and thought "omg, another LS feature request thread" (having already posted in 3-4 previous threads in agreement).
I was under the impression that SE weren't doing anything for this until 2.0 because of the apparently backwards way LS features had been coded into the current client.
The ZAM quote gives me some hope that I might be able to do something about my LS list sooner rather than later.
As for SE making sites with calendars for LS's.....why would they bother to put time, effort, and money into making something (that in my mind's eye I see as likely being inferior and probably botched in some way - at the start anyway) when we (the player base) are already doing it?
I do like the idea that you might get a good looking website tied into your LS activities, but I also like how SE currently have no say in what you write/put on your website and how it's laid out. I think there are some areas where SE should not be allowed to start interfering, else before you know it there will be "terms and conditions" for everything you do related to the game (whether you're in-game or not).
Perhaps that's too cynical/paranoid a view to have?
Theres already somthing similar to this on the Lodestone site.I wonder if the FFXI Linkshell community thing would be considered a XIV v2.0 testing ground...?
