    Linkshell removing members

There are a lot of features there could be for linkshells. Currently the only one I would like as a Linkshell Master is to be able to remove people from the linkshell whether they are online or not.

Basically there are people who haven't been online for ages and I would like to shorten the list. Will SE add that option anytime soon or do we have to wait for 2.0?

Having to break the LS to remake is annoying. Instead of trying to add the people who do play often into a new one... it would just be easier to remove the ones that don't play.

Please add this sometime soon even if its only by text input command.

.. Can anyone else clarify that? Because I'm pretty sure I read they plan on releasing the repaired linkshell system a damn-sight sooner than that, it's just really difficult because of the way it's bound up in the layered UI code.

ugh... all I ask for is a command to be able to remove players (offline or online) from the linkshell with no silly condition of them having to be logged on and nearby.

It can't be that impossible to add a command to do it. This is a needed feature in the game.

If they can revamp party search, add in market search, they can add in a freakin command line to remove someone from a linkshell. >_<

This is from Yoshida's second ZAM interview. It's not very specific... but it's something.

ZAM: In addition to the party search function coming in Patch 1.20, are there any plans to improve the linkshell system soon?

Yoshida: Improving the linkshell system is our highest priority task after the party search function, so we plan on doing so in patch 1.21. However, it involves a very complex script (which is why we haven’t been able to make improvements yet) so we appreciate your continued patience in the matter!

I really hope this is still in line for 1.21, and I hope it's more then just the ability to remove inactive members. That being said, I really hope they step up the features of the linkshell system in 1.21. We've listed the features we want/need, so I'm really hoping we can see them come to light soon.

Removing inactive members is just the bare minimum of what is needed for linkshell administration options...

In 2.0 I would also like to see LS message, a calendar with a way to sign up for LS events. I know people use Linkshell websites to manage that kind of stuff but I would prefer some of it be ingame.

I wonder if the FFXI Linkshell community thing would be considered a XIV v2.0 testing ground...?
