Adventure Journal was an awesome name for it But we got the Journal already for quests, so maybe a bit confusion then, dunno. I just know I hate alt tabbing all the time to see if I remember correctly, or when I have forgot something. When other games have managed to make a log like this, it shouldn't be hard for SE to fix one too Imho it should have been in the game from the start

It could even be named Diary, Memoirs, Annals. There are many names, some better than others, they could use to make it fit perfectly into the game.

Personally i use Google Drive if i need to keep track of important information in regards to, (relic) progression, Inventory for crafting recipes, mechanics, etc. I'll use Google Docs if i want to write something out and Google Sheets if i want to make a checklist of some sorts. Since I can log into Google Drive on both my Desktop as well as my Smartphone or tablet, i always have my notes/checklists at hand.

I use that too on certain things, because i don't have other options, but got to tab out of the game for it all the time. This way you can have certain things saved in-game and no need to alt tab for everything

That's just too messy. I don't wanna use up macro slots for things to remember. Plus you can only write so much inside a macro before you got to create a new one.

I've been desperately trying to reduce the amounts of paper I use for my notes. I scribble on old notebooks and the back of calendar sheets to spare some trees but it piles up! I got a new phone to use as a notebook instead and it's doing a nice job so far (except for boss strats, the screen's too small to look at on the fly) but an in-game notebook would be a much smoother option!

It's a good idea. I see how this would be useful. Personally I do use a notebook for my gathering activities, how well something has sold in market board, pieces of gear I want to upgrade with "what tomes" and many other stuff.
