Ok so this is more of a rant than anything else but recently when I made my first female character, I noticed in the customization that she had NO ASS whatsoever so I went and did some answer finding on reddit (where else right?) and stumbled on this pic



Let us say I was slightly beyond sad at the poor sight of this booty. So then I went to find answers as to why SE would do such an atrocious crime and someone said that SE released a statement years back as PS3 being the issue do to limitations of the console (the damn consoles dead so where TF is my sliders?!). The PS3 I'm assuming was only able to fit so many options so all the other races traded their precious muscle tone (And booty for fems) for things like tail/ear length which I find stupid but u know, w/e SE . So who else feels this way?! I can't be the only one.

Last we heard about this, Yoshi said he'd talk to the devs responsible for this sort of thing and see what they could do. In the event such a slider became available, textures would apparently be stretched to accommodate it.

I'd like the option to have a slightly larger butt, but nothing too crazy. also I think breast sliders are fine as they are, no need to give ourselves back issues.

There wasn't even a muscle slider or butt slider back in 1.0 last I recall.

The 'PS3 limitations' comments are almost entirely nonsensical power fantasies made up by insecure console-hating technophobic PC users who blame all of the game's shortcomings on an easy scapegoat. There were legitimate PS3 limitations, like the fact that the framerate and interface on PS3 sort of sucked as it became more and more outdated and cramped, which in turn held back to complexity of the interface on other platforms.

But 99.9% of everything you see people blame on 'PS3 limitations' is actually caused by server or network limitations, and killing PS3 support means nothing.

In this case, the number of unique models between races was simplified for ARR to make adapting future gear and other boring elements easier/faster/cheaper for S-E, and female Miqo'te were affected. In addition, big butts aren't as much of a selling point in Japan and the game has a very defined aesthetic to suit its target market.

And we all know how options for character creation are strictly limited, to the point where we can't have Au Ra horns and faces as separate choices. If they do decide to give us more configuration options, which Yoshida knows is a much-requested improvement, this could be included in the change.

yes, and female Lalafell have a bust slider wich does virtually nothing. when the resscoures are limited, why must i spend those resscources on a slider wich goes only from 0 to 0? please give female lalafell a real option instead of this useless bust slider o.o/
