    Crafting Optimizer Issues

I had taken a break from the game about a year ago and came back a month ago. Prior to leaving I was Lv60 all Crafting/Gathering. The Crafting Optimizer worked fine back then from what I can remember but right now it doesn't appear to be accurate. My GSM is only Lv61 right now and I had it create a macro for Koppranickel Ingot with all mats HQ. I already put in all of my correct information as far as level/craft/control/cp/skills, but the macro it gave me ended up finishing early and the ingot was still NQ. Is there an issue that's known with the Optimizer right now where it's understating the craftsmanship of a certain level despite the stat being entered? Or has it always only been accurate for max level crafters? Thank you, in advance.

Which Crafting Optimizer are you using?

As I've been leveling crafters, I've found that it is mostly correct as you level if you keep the stats up to date, but it does seem to occasionally have what I suspect are rounding errors. So if the rotation I design is cutting it close on progress (e.g. required progress is 1000 and rotation is predicted to achieve 1005 progress) I'll do a test run with Reclaim loaded and abort if the 1st synthesis ability doesn't hit the predicted progress. IIRC, this was mainly a problem 55-59 and 65-69 and always seemed correct at 60 and 70, YMMV.

Use teamcraft if you want to insert your own progress and quality thresholds for items. Just bear in mind if you plan to use it for early forecasting of 4* recipes then the values for both progress and quality will possibly be inaccurate because of the penalty you get crafting higher recipe level stuff.

Thanks! I thought it would be able with that one on github too, but nevermind.

The beta one on lokyst.net has a very broken solver. It seems to be hell-bent on using up ALL your CP even if the quality is 30k+ above max by doing it. It also likes using Hasty Touch WAY too often.

That's not a bug, that's just how the solver works. It won't aim for efficiency, nor will it aim for productive sequences to be generated. You're ideally meant to use the simulator to 'solve' your sequence/rotation, to see if improvements can be made by shifting around skills etc etc. You never want to use it to generate a fresh sequence.
