Black mage has a lot of casting so..you should go ahead and try that. xD
At least my BLM is almost 30 xD

I've wondered if it has anything to do with instant cast moves but I just don't understand how that works. A 2.5 second GCD is still 2.5 seconds whether you're casting during it or not.

I appreciate the kind words. They're the opposite of what is going on in my head right about now.

I assumed melee would only make me feel this even worse, kinda like how I feel on PLD. Honestly DRG has always interested me but I've never played it because I assumed it would make me feel similarly anxious.

I'm curious what you mean by linking BLM and trouble tanking? I just don't understand what they have to do with each other. I hope I never end up tanking on BLM, if I do something has gone horribly wrong xD

My blm friend at the time who was very skilled brung me to a dummy and had me sit there learning the rotation. After grasping the rotation we went to do a 24man and I was still dropping it after a few days I got mostly used to it.

Its mainly due to healers not having a set rotation so learning a rotation felt weird. After learning Blm other classes were easier to pickup like Bard, Monk ect.
Maybe I have to give BLM a shot. It seems like it was a lot of peoples "gateway drug" to other DPS.
