Dyes dyes... we need more regular dyes

4 years later and this game is still seriously lacking in dyes, adding 2-3 super rare dyes per year is not a good way to move forward, we need more common (not metallic, not pastel), easy to obtain dyes, they cost almost nothing to implement, yet for some reason they haven't added more craftable or npc shop dyes.

Please add something like 10-20 of each common dye group, there are over 16 millions of colors to choose from, and please make them craftable or something easier to get, 0.00001% chance to obtain from a quick venture is unacceptable.

Metallic gold = metallic orange, basically, so it seems redundant. Not on all gear, but on too many sets. Here's hoping metallic yellow will look like actual gold.

I do think they need to move away from the metallic, pastel, and dark rare dyes. I personally find that a lot of the current metallic dyes are just far too bright and garish. I want to see some deeper tones added to the metallic line. Like a deep purple, or emerald green. I'd also love to see some pearlescent dyes added. That adds a nice colour shift as the light hits it at different angles.

I agree, there is so many shades of color that needs to be added as dyes. I feel like they added these two new rare dyes just to make jet black and pure white even rarer.

One of the weirdest things is true black and white being rare items (or premium purchase). Black and white! At least it's easy gil if they come up on ventures I guess. On my world prices starting at 550k a pot for white and 788k for black atm.

550k?! The cheapest is 99999 for general-purpose white on mine. I'm just not buying out of principal as I wait for my surly retainers to bring it back. I may crack soon though - who ever heard of a WTM in Snow White glamour, I mean seriously...

I think RMT inflated Ragnarok prices quite a bit. They are quite active on this world in city markets around the clock and people must be buying because there's loads of gil in circulation here, but still yeah that much gil to change color per item is a lot and if you change your mind and change color later it's wasted. eep
