    Really, these were non-factor changes for me. My sig pretty much sums up why. I voted yes for it, obviously, and I'm staying Bard till it happens. But apparently there's roughly 1/3 of the community who disagrees, which also don't post why. Maybe it's cause they never played HW SMN, or cause they did and didn't like the way you had to prime all of your CDs for one moment (despite the removal of Spur/Raging Strikes making it easier). The opener was momentarily hectic but after that it was so much smoother than what SMN is currently. Bahamut still has problems too. Wyrm Wave Addle is still a thing and now you have to pop it on CD, creating even more confusion, ironically. But that is lost on the people who are hurt by these changes the most.

    HW SMN asked a lot of you, then gave you a break. You built up for a big moment, then had a wonderful reprieve. SB SMN on the other hand, demands a steady, perfect CD rotation while making you fight against FFXIV's janky animation-over-execution-focused engine at every turn. No amount of numbers and insta-cast skills are going to fix that.
