


Lots of people saying they want "Heavensward SMN" back, which was basically that. It seems small, but that one niggling aspect of the class design literally made me shelve a job I'd loved through ARR (even the rocky Final Coil days of dumpster DPS and raid utility, and needing BRDs to sing you Ballad lol). Saying "I'd like aspects of HW SMN back, like a non-crap Bane and the ability to use Aetherflow inside of DWT so a misclick doesn't waste 60 seconds of my life" is something I could agree with, but just saying "I want HW SMN back" is something I vehemently disagree with.
Instant Ruin 3 feels so clunky to me.
My case with that is muscle memory as I am use to Ruin 3 being its own thing on its own button. What is clunkier to me is Ruin 4. Not that I didn't use Ruin 2 before, but having to watch for the proc there feels awkward as before it was just replacing Ruin and Ruin 3 which felt more natural.

What I miss about HW SMN is that Aetherflow stacks with Aethertrail. The timer can get the hell away from me though.
HW = Aethertrail timer
SB = Aethertrail lockout
Given a choice I would take the lockout. Planning DWTs around the Aetherflow rotation gives me peace. Avoiding Aethertrail time-outs still give me bad memories of frustration.

First time running in savage and shinryu ballad on SMN and was able to get 90+ percentiles with 320 weapon and sub-optimal melds (spec for BLM), so yeah I think this class is doing just fine at this point
smn is now easier than rdm...., every move now is an instant cast, aside of one dot (anf tri bind, which we never use in raids anyway)..., and there is no more MP issues
difficulty rdm > smn
fun smn > rdm
Does mana ever run out now? Lol!
Im liking to be able to move while spamming Ruin III. And actually I welcomed Bahamut medium size.
