    MP bars on classes that don't use MP

    With the changes in SB getting our job gauges on War/Nin/Drg/Sam/Mnk why do they still have MP? I know it's in the base UI of any job it's just jarring as to why they're still there I keep wanting to put my melee gauges over my MP bar only to find out that it glitches out and keeps being transparent.

    With the new UI overhaul are we able to eliminate MP bars on jobs that don't use them? It just feels odd keeping MP bars on these classes when they never did/did use MP (Flash for warriors). I understand why Bard has it due to Foes n what not but I wish there was an option to put my Blood of the Dragon gauge where my MP is or put my GL 3 or Chakra gauge because I don't need MP.

    Tldr; What I'm asking is SE, can we have the option to remove MP bars on jobs that don't need it in favor of the gauges to be put there.

    Let's wait and see 4.1, imo.
    We already known that seveal UI will be able to separated into individual parts, there's a chance that HP/MP/TP bar will be able to do it too.

    Why do you play with my heart like this even as a Drk or anything I'd still love to but the game says nope!

    Better solution would be to do away with TP/MP bars completely as well. Have every job/class use it's own special resource/resources.
    • Dark- Black Blood
    • War- Wrath
    • PLD- Oath
    • Monk- Lightning
    • DRG-Blood Of The Dragon
    • ETC- ETC

    TP was born in a system from offline FF where customization and builds were a thing. This was also applicable in FFXI.

    Here it is just a remnant of a system being gutted over the course of it's life. No sense having shared global resources for a game trying to lock you into One job= One role. If anything, having unique resources would allow the gauges to be more streamlined on a per job basis.

    I'd like to see the MP bars used on evey job since MP is usually a staple in fantasy games. But on the other side you have magic jobs that don't use TP, RDM aside; the same could be said about them. Personally I think a skill, possibly role, that uses their MP to boost their damage output or boost defense would be great, something. Or Manashift give them Manashift, lol.

    I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.

    I do agree, like look at death knight of wow, that had an interesting system in having you balance rune gains and your energy bar.
