MP bars on classes that don't use MP

Definitely I think every job should have at least one ability/skill that ultilises their least used bar, either MP or TP. I mean it could be a cross role action rather than one locked to a particular job, but we have casters that don't use TP anymore since Sprint was reworked (aside from RDM melee actions) and non-casters that barely use MP (except BRD, PLD, DRK).

There is the potential to use these inactive bars in some manner instead of letting them go to waste. An idea is perhaps they could be an action that converts TP to MP or vis versa (depending on role) on a long CD, or maybe be able to spend 50% of the particular bar to reduce any cross role action currently on cd by 25%. I know we already have Invigorate, Lucid Dreaming, Mana Shift etc it's just a few ideas, I suppose there are tons of possibilities though.

Better solution would be to do away with TP/MP bars completely as well. Have every job/class use it's own special resource/resources.

Here it is just a remnant of a system being gutted over the course of it's life.

I like your thinking and I want this for next expansion /5.0. That's much better, reducing the amount of bars to track. Almost none of the jobs do anything interesting with mp/tp and are just balanced so you don't run dry, with refresh skills added on to help with that but it's not an interesting mechanic just hitting the button when it's needed. Also rip ether pots.
