Shirogane pricing change?

So I haven't seen this posted anywhere else and so I decided to start a thread about as I feel this topic deserves it's own discussion thread.

Namely, why did they suddenly change the pricing on the shirogane housing to be more expensive? Specifically they mention the different classification of plots which I'm going to assume is plot 30 as it's the most expensive, suddenly it's been changed from 45mil to 50mil without any real notification for the players outside of the ones that actually read the patch notes in detail about the housing being made available. It's completely possible individuals will have the gil amount that, I will remind you, is said to be required in the game, but unless they specifically read the patch notes there is no way for them to know for sure.

I also went back and checked the original 4.0 patch notes to see if there was any word about the prices being changed or any statement being made anywhere to that effect and I have found nothing. While I doubt they will revert the prices to what it currently says in game (which frankly is the right thing to do if we're being honest here) but some sort of disclaimer would have been nice. My FC still has the gil needed, that is a non-issue, but I feel as though some sort of warning or more visible announcement should have been made prior to this change being made. Currently I believe this will blindside a lot of players that believed they have enough gil only for it suddenly to be changed without them being able to prepare ahead of time to get the amount of gil that they might need to get the already limited housing.

Prices haven't changed on my server yet. Plot 30 is still 45 million since you mentioned that one. I see it in the notes but perhaps that's an error.

I think you misunderstand, in the game currently using plot 30 in shirogane as an example, it says to buy the plot it's 45 million gil but in the patch notes it says it's going to be 50 million gil, either this is an error on someone that forgot to proof read the patch notes before putting them up or they're planning on changing it without telling us. I'd just like some clarification, one way or the other.

How does it say it's 50 mil in the patch notes? It simply lists the prices per grade, which are the same as they have always been. Plot 30 is a grade 3 so it should be 45 mil. What you are saying would indicate it is a first-class plot, so where are you getting this info?

I'm just saving what gil I can in the hopes of getting some sort of plot. All of the ones in Kugane are near something of interest be it the vendors or the beach or the 'secret' cave bit.

All worlds will have the same pricing. They changed to that last year(At least for NA/EUROPE servers).

I have owned houses on 3 data centers(4 worlds total) so I know.

The class of a plot is set in stone and doesn't change based on anything, the price range in the patch notes (max price and min price) is the cost in every single server.

oh? On the ones in Louisoix there was a timer that decreases the price every so often. If it was doing the same on other servers theyd be at 0 by now.

All open plots have the timer, just that on a lot of servers the plots don't stay open long enough for the price to ever decrease.
