I can understand the frustration and concern. This is something that can go either way, depending on how they decide to implement it.
Right now, like someone said, it's only 5 dungeons. One thing to keep in mind though is this might seem like a way to reduce queue time for DPS, but also allow people who need the content from earlier dungeons (so far 2.x) to complete them without long wait times. This, to me, is due to their large amount of dungeon content that gets out-dated quickly.
Not sure how many times you can run it in a day though. If we can only run it once or twice, that's good too. Use it to get your challenge log done if you need to. As long as they keep the squadron able to run into dungeons from previous expansions, it won't be so bad.
That is true, most of this will blow over. I think one person is afraid of items being required for other content you can only obtain through squadron dungeon runs. I don't think they'll go down that far. Right now a few emotes is fine. It will have its hype and die down.
Maybe that is where I am getting confused. Normally when we have a dungeon we do a quest and at a point it will say how we've unlocked it, not completed. Do the quest and finish the dungeon to get the duty to come up in roulette.
So maybe it is safe to say we need it completed rather than just unlocked? If so that will take out any help for newer people and place it back into the old ways which is perfectly fine. As for it doing anything for roulette, probably not in a giant way. Those who have 4/5 dungeons on a Monday night and are dead tired..if they can run a quick / easy one with their squadron, that isn't so bad.
I don't think the weight of these squadron runs are that heavy and it will probably fade away into the background. Or it may not, can't cancel anything out until we get our nubby lil hands on things.
