    I sincerely hope the new emotes aren't restricted to the Mog Station. And that the new glamours aren't biased in favour of females (gender restrictions) again. But I'm pretty sure I'll be disappointed come patch day...

    Super hyped about Shinryu EX though, I can't wait to die a bunch. More Hildy and Return to Ivalice are very welcome too. I'll try out the squadron stuff if it means I'll get stuff but all my jobs are long past the point of needing to run those dungeons.

    Honestly the best part is all the QoL stuff. Might not be glamorous or exciting compared to content but I'm stoked about some of the changes. Finally can have a minion and my chocobo out, a tab for beast tribe currencies, and sensible storage solutions for housing... all very nice.

    None of the 13 emotes listed in the command list were listed as emotes that would be released in the MogStation so I think we're good

    I believe that it was said for all the emotes based on Squadron activity (pushups, at ease etc.) are rewards from Squadron dungeon runs. And I think that all of these emotes apply.

    That would mean that none of these emotes are mogstore emotes, nor can they be gotten in any way other than taking the squadron on missions. I wouldn't really mind that. Would let me learn tanking with constant-quality party that wouldn't complain when we die due to me experimenting, with me not feeling guilty that I tried to do something new and wasted peoples time when I knew how to go past it, even if not necessarily efficiently.
    If players do get experience for them, even if the same as running them normally, that would be a big bonus.

    For that reason as well, I wouldn't mind to see even if the squadrons did catch up to the new content. Don't want to drop everyone out?! Cool. Have the new content not drop anything/not give experience...but could still be run for practice and squadron leveling/rewards alone. Though, this is something for a rather distant future, as there's quite a lot to catch up to.


    Also, MMO, as massive multiplayer online, have nothing to do with players playing with each other per see. It's about how the players are connected. Instead of few players connected to one of them like in the old age, MMO just assumes that numerous players are connected to a specific third party server and thus many of them can be online at the same time. That doesn't really even mean you need to be able to play with each other. As long as they are "there somewhere" at the same time as you.

    As for the person that so vehemently complains about this in this thread...Don't like it, don't play it. It won't affect you. There are people like you that won't like it and won't play it. You will be able to find parties all the same. Possibly the queue time will be affected, but it very well may make it even better for you, instead of worse. And hey, the people you WILL play with may be the ones wanting to be social, instead of the ones forced into that. So you can be under the illusion of the game becoming suddenly filled with social people instead of the reverse.

    Before making big complaints about something (especially something that is not even clearly explained), at least try and think of the REAL consequences instead of just following some random shallow idea "solo content in MMO game = kills the game". You have put absolutely no thought into what effect this feature would have on the game, and you still rant about it foretelling death to the game...Good thing you are not a developer for FFXIV. Many fun features that could make the game universally better would have no chance of being made otherwise.

    These are what stood out to me:

    They finally delivered on their promise to make Sleipnir fly.
    They're adding more metallic dyes finally, albeit orange and yellow which are ugly af, but it gives me hope that someday soon we'll get more.
    We can go back to The Royal Menagerie—I'll probably just AFK there all day now.
    The broom mount gets a special action, just in time for Halloween.
    Ventures/Beast Tribe tokens finally making their way into the Currency tab.
    Housing storage, which will free up a good two pages on one of my retainers.

    Excited to run the new dungeon, raid, and ex-trial of course, but sometimes the small gestures make a larger impression.

    Why do u care if more people want to do old content by themselves. What if I'd rather farm the hw primal with others? They could balance this u shouldn't have to do everything in the game with three or four other people all the time. It's plenty of solo focus mmos that do just as well as others. And also it's always optional so if u want to party up with others all the time it's nothing stopping u.

    I feel like everyone losing it over squadrons would flip out if they realized how many players use the undersized option to knock out old content. Sastasha sync'd can take about 20 minutes, unsync'd can be cleared SOLO in about 5.

    NOT TO MENTION that the plan with Squadrons was to ALWAYS have them act as dungeon companions. It just took forever for the next phase to be implemented.

    Tbh Squadron was their first idea for solo dungeons during the end of ARR then they made unsynched a thing and honestly I thought the squadron option would end up a discarded Idea.
    I'll be frank I was surprised to see that coming, but even now I still don't know what they are gonna be outside of optional content, I'll reserve m judgement after I'll have given a try on the dungeon thing anyway

    I think square enix never take the good way about SMN adjustement,
    the actual problem with the smn rotation is bahamut'' for maximise the dps with bahamut we must wait etherflow and addle,
    to correct it must just put the wyrmwaves of bahamut in automatic ''
    For death problem'' do not loses bahamut stack after with death '' and reset lucid dreaming !!!
    Actually is a nerf for me for all best summoner player,
    all good smn will spam ruin 3 and never need mana,
    actually we loses the combo '' R4+R2+fester for maximise dps !
    and we loses 20 of potency in main spell /puke !
    Smn mobility is fine, why upgrade mobility in DWT ?
    Why remplace ruin 1 per ruin 3,
    why not just decrease the mana cost of ruin 3 ?

    if square enix know how much the actual change of the summoner changes nothing,
    and is a big nerf for great smn !
