    2nd Players Poll

I know its a little old news now, and i dont know about you, but i wanted to give a little more info when filling out the 2nd players poll.

I'm talking specifically about the section at the bottom where you could comment as you pleased about the issues that most affect you in-game. What was it?...300? 400 characters max?
I forget, but it sure wasnt enough space and i had to cut down considerably what i wanted to say to be able to post, my friends had the same problem so i know i wasnt the only one lol.

So here is what i said.....

LS leaders able to add/exile members from anywhere
    Add /assist
Synthing windows should be:Choose craft item from recipe book-confirm use of shards/crystals/mats-CRAFT (fixed yay!)
    Instant equipment swap macros
AOEing unclaimed mobs shouldnt reduce SP gained
In config allow UI res to differ from main res (so people can play on their big TV and play with pretty graphics and be able to read the logs)
Graphical glitch-running downhill character is jumpy & descends in steps (addressed but still not right)
5000 Characters in next poll (hehe i had to say this even though it took up valuable characters)

And here is what i wanted to say but couldnt.....

LS leaders able to add/exile members from anywhere in-game.
More detailed LS list (member location, current class and rank).
Introduce {/assist} command to help concentrate attacks.
Show mob font colour state (claimed/unclaimed) on mob HP bar. (useful when fighting multiple mobs at once that all like to stand in the same spot)
Synthing windows should be as follows: Choose item to craft from recipe book, confirm use of shards/crystals/materials, CRAFT! (as said before...fixed!)
Add option for rotating mini-map to help orientation.
    Equipment/eaction swap macros instantaneous.
Equipped attributes and abilities should be stored from the last use of that class.
    User configurable map markers.
Ability to browse a list of your retainer items from anywhere (not to store items).
Swim ability with underwater dungeons and questlines. (would be awesome to add another dimension to the game but would clearly need a lot of programming to implement)
Introduce a macro wizard. (great for new players and seasoned players alike)
Introduce Alt+Tab function. (yea, its an old nag but valid nonetheless lol)
    Separate battle and field leves.
Crafting leves offered to be based on your rank. (sorta fixed, happy with the changes)
In multi-mob leves, AOEing an unclaimed target should not reduce SP gained.
In the config, allow UI resolution to be different from the main graphics resolution.
In the config show a preview of graphical changes. (would be useful to see what it would look like before having to load the game only to find the config u chose totally sucks and have to log out and start again)
Fix graphical glitch - when running downhill, character is jumpy and descends in steps. (as said before...addressed but still glitchy)

Please dont take this as a nag post, i'm just curious as to whether everyone else thought the space alloted for comments was a tad too low

I guess ideally it would of been nicer to have more space to type. I can see where they are coming from too, considering a lot of people would have the same issues. I guess they just giving you enough space so you only put what is the most important to you.

I can imagine them allocating the time to have someone sit and read long comments from every person who completed the poll. As Point_Zero said, keeping the comment box small ensures that people only comment on the issue or issues most important to them whilst also keeping it relevant and to the point.

i ran out of room also, but mine was in regards to their multiple parties being able to claim a single mob at once and how to distribute sp after the fight. i pointed out the way to exploit both systems and gave an example.

first option was first party to engage. it's easy to run through and hit every mob and keep running while a party is getting ready to attack it. that person would then get as much as the others do.

split the sp evenly among all parties fighting a mob. you see a party about to kill a mob run up and hit it once and you get as much sp as the party that did all the hard work.

was tying to point out that if they do multiple parties on a single mob it should go with you get a bonus for being first to attack and a bonus for delivering the killing blow, but the sp from the mob itself should be split up depending on the % of the damage each party does.

10 sp for first hit for everyone in that party
10 sp for the killing blow for everyone in that party
mob gives 100 sp total and party A hits first, but party B kills the mob. party A does 60% of the mob damage.
party A 10 sp for the first hit and 60sp for 60% of damage they'd get 70sp each member.
party B 10 sp for kill and 40sp for the 40% of damage they'd get 50 sp each.

i was trying how it would be exploited, but ran out of space trying to show a solution to the exploit.
