Un-eligable for Falcon Mount due to oversight

Hello, so as the title states I'm un-eligible to obtain the Falcon Mount. I've been playing this game for four years, in the four years I have not dropped subscription once. I have been looking forward to getting this mount to add to my collection like I look forward to every mount, especially ones that are exclusive to these promotion events.

Fast forward to September 9th, I'm happily leveling an alt with my GF on Midgarsormr, we reach level 40 in the first night due to road to 60 buff. I wake up and go to work and I notice my phone has an email notification.

"Congratulations on reaching level 30! We have awarded you with 15 days of free game time!"

Oh, okay that's cool. I don't really think anything of it because I'm thinking my sub renewal is earlier in the month. Fast forward to the 30th and something provokes me to look at when my subscription is to renew. October 2nd, oh okay so that means I've paid September and am now going to receive my dorky looking mount right? WRONG!!

My subscription was apparently due on September 17th and the 15 free days ruined my opportunity to obtain this mount, and consequentially ruined it for my GF as well.

So that is why I am here now on the OF, looking for some sort of work around due to this oversight by Square. Perhaps a notice when you start a new character saying "Hey reach level 30 and you will receive 15 free days!" I know I could have purchased game time to work around the issue but because it said my renewal was going to be on the 2nd I had figured we were all good for September's payment.

Looks like Midgardsormr is a preferred world so that's why you got those 15 days. The first character you level to 30 on a preferred or new world gives you that bonus.

I would contact support and ask if they can help you. This has been around for a while and similar things can happen that screw you out of the veteran rewards if you get free days. (for example if you add a new platform to your main account you get 30 days free sometimes and you delay the next veteran reward by that many days) The veteran rewards don't have a deadline so it wasn't a big deal but this one does.

Yeaah... I also got screwed out of the mount by the free 15 days, the fact that the two events actually directly conflict with each other in this manner is a bit special. I guess I'm at least thankful I wasn't super interested in the mount outside of +1 to the collection.

No worries though, I'm sure we'll be allowed to buy it from the mogstation down the road for some exorbitant price. Excitement intensifies.

No, subscription packages are still eligible for the mount. I have friends that pay for 180 day sub packages and they got the mount.

No you did not need to use time cards. I have a subscription, I pay for the 6 month subscription and got the mount. As long as you were subscribed during the promotion period for 90 days you got the mount. I got mine Sept 5th, the first wave since I had more than the 90 days left on my current period.

oh wow... idk why me and my g/f didn't get ours. we bought them a week ago, and just turned on 2 days ago, we got our vet rewards, she has been logged on all day and no mail. (this was around 6pm cdt) i checked before work and nothing.

Turned on 2 days ago? Meaning you subscribed 2 days ago? If so you missed it:

"From Saturday, July 1, 2017 through Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. (PDT)"

You had to have added a 90 day subscription by Sept 30th to qualify

we bought the 90 day subs around september 20-25. we still had 10 days left our current sub, then the 90 days kicked on 2 days ago. so yes we did buy them before the date.
