Petition for more wards / instanced housing

I wish I could've posted this yesterday. I'm one of those who signed this petition, and was preparing for the mad rush for Shirogane (I also hail from Midgardsormer). For the last few days, I had also operated under the assumption that there might be people who would sell their old plot beforehand, also in prep. for Shirogane. So I kept checking the other wards periodically, and son of a b****, one small plot suddenly popped up in Mist (subdivision, 3rd class). I ran out there and snatched it up just in time, as another player came running up not 2 min. later. I had to go to work, otherwise I would've told everyone here to do the same. It may be too late for Shirogane, but for now, take five every time you log in to do the same as I did. Until Square gets around to fixing this situation, this is the best hope I can give.

Or at least, a request for the use of fc chests to buy plots. I got kicked out of the queue yesterday (not my internet etc, SE not being able to cope) but my bf managed to log in. We would have had a fighting chance if i hadn't had to take all our gil out on my character to try to buy.

Double sign. I did end up getting lucky and grabbing a house, but I'm still not okay with the housing situation. Something needs to happen because this is not okay.

I wanted a small house for myself so I was up since 2AM, made sure patch was done. Wait until the play button is green to log in. Get to the title screen, hit play, get hit with the 5002/5006/whateverthe#itwas error thing. Had to spent 2 minutes to get back, and by the time I get to character log in, the queue was 1900... RIP. The same goes for the designated house purchase guy from my FC, 3 from my FC were going at it, but didn't get on server due to the stupid queue, and of course, when they are in it's like 20+ mins later and all houses plot is gone.

If they wanted player to feel special for owning a house, there are other ways. Rely on the server connection right after the patch to be the measurement for who can get the house is just stupid... Random server hiccup will screw player out of their spot even of they are in the front of the queue as the server is up and running. They could've use a lock system where after the patch is live and server is up for certain hours, THEN the housing instances are open (I know this would create separate issue but with similar result, but at least people are not screwed right out of the gate when server is up.)

More wards is good. I would think separate personal and FC houses where the current wards are FC only and player can use instanced housing with garden and stuff would be best...

I'm gonna sign here, it took less than a minute for all housing wards on Balmung to get occupied, i was one of the first in and it was a nightmare, this is the third time we try to get a house in the rush for the past 3yrs.
Hell i'd be happy with a housing system like in ESO at this point..
