This is definitely needed. We need at the least double the amount of wards & subdivisions.

Everyone knows housing is the true endgame and it makes me a sad panda only a sliver of the population has a chance to experience it.
100% support. The limits on housing are insane, it doesn't create a sense of success as much as a natural anger and spitefulness towards other players.

This is what people need to know about housing. . . .Signed.
You were just happy to announce over 10 million active players.
My math could be off, but I believe counting all wards, subdivisions, and servers; you have 190,080 plots existing for purchase in the game now that Shirogane has launched. I'm not counting apartments, because it's not the same thing and I don't think any player would tell you it's the same thing.
That's not even 2% of the active player base. Not even 2% gets to experience this part of the game. Not because they didn't work hard to make/save gil, or because they were outbid by their fellow players, or that other players have been with the game longer and had priority. No, they just weren't able to log in within the first 5 minutes after a patch for a game feature you have been advertising for over six months.
Yey! I joining the cause! /signed

There are so many people without homes who would probably find housing to be their end game!
If making each home an instance is a more cost efficient way to achieve this, I say do it. The more people who have homes, the less corruption from housing markets there will be.
A lot of people are missing out on a great aspect of the game and apartments just aren't enough for some of us!
Keep posting, likes, send in complaints in game as well. Make them listen. We're all paying subscriptions, it's fine for housing to be expensive but at least give players the opportunity to work towards it without scalping one another. It wouldn't be done if it wasn't for such an atrocious system. Even for the most exclusive of content, if you're active, work hard, find a handful of players and improve yourself, you can achieve anything in this game. Even end-game raiding, if that's your prerogative. But not housing? Not cool. Especially when you have content to be done from an FC with airships and whatnot. Many have played for years and never given the opportunity, amount of Gil be damned. Meanwhile one player or one FC can buy up an entire Ward. Square Enix, you really think your housing system has no room for improvement? Stop this nonsense already and fix it, please. There's no reason to be so stubborn to the vast majority of your loyal, paying customers. /signed

Housing should NOT be a privilege for a few people on a subscription based game.
Specially for Free Companies.
It's not fair that players that spent 4-8 hours a day on this game (myself included) never had a chance to get even a cottage, while players that haven't played in months, players using bots, and players that already have a house, create ghost FC's or enter with alts torn to buy all the houses and then sell them at 10x or more the original price.
This housing system is bullshit and it needs to be fixed.

"Get better servers. Last I checked Square Enix wasn't three kids operating out of a garage, there's no excuse for them not having everything operating at the absolute state of the art. LOTRO had a housing system with wards similar to this, and whenever a particular plot wasn't available on any ward, it automatically generated a new ward. And this was 10 years ago." enough said honestly, this is an embarrassment
Even FFXI housing was better than this. Although it was only a room, it was still implemented much better. It's also sad to thing that F2P style games have much better housing systems them FFXIV./signed
