    Perhaps the hints are less subtle than Yoshi P believes.

    I have a feeling Eorzea is going to be united into one country, as in the governance will be under one banner as a united ...ugh...state. Yoshi P seems to be replacing the different governments into similar democracies. It was hinted at in different times in the story, Kan E Senna's credits speech in 2.0, the fact that term limits are coming up for Merlwyb, Nanamo's want for a republic. The references to Eorzea as a country already, the crystal braves attempt, the presence of adventurers being already a "well regulated militia"...it seems that democracy, specifically one where everyone gets along, is regularly hammered as the only answer for Eorzea.
