    While I agree there's not much to the open world outside of gathering, it would be hard to balance these things XP wise.

    With the way this game is set up, there's not much you can put out there in the open world that wouldn't fall to the waste-side quickly.

    For me this is due to the item level progression and how fast it adjusts. We are no longer in the times where we go fight a single mob that takes a minute or two gives a chunk if XP. We're now at a point where we fight groups, and mow them down in dungeons and get a chunk of XP from there.

    I would say maybe put open world content that can help you get items for certain levels or crafting materials. But we're so saturated already with gear / mats that quickly get out-dated that it would just add more to the problem than solution.

    I was a bit sad when they took away drops from NM's that got turned into FATES. If anything, maybe they could create instances that can be completed with a party and done weekly. But what? If you make it another run fight X mobs, it's just a dungeon. No idea on my end. Everything I imagine just gets thrown out quickly.
