    I think that's the issue, too, aside from being very simple to play. All Black Mage does most of the time is stand still and cast Fire IV which sounds simple but the spell is appealing and impactful so it feels satisfying to use.
    Meanwhile not even Verflare or Verholy (at least in audible impact) are appealing.

    Impact needs to replace Jolt when it procs. Waste of a button. I agree Verflare/Holy need more audible impact.

    I personally really enjoy RDM because it is mechanically simple, has great utility, and can compete effectively with the other DPS classes. If you enjoy mechanical complexity, there’s several other DPS classes you might prefer. I’m personally hoping they retain RDM’s current flavor and simplicity. If I ever feel bored by it, I’ll just level something else (SAM or BLM most likely).

    They made the job so that you have all yyou need when leveling which is why you have this feeling.
    For instance, in HW BLM couldn't have a proper glimpse of their rotation until 60 since 8t required the 2 - ga spells + enochian. (getting enochian when u have no - ga spell felt really weird)

    I get what you mean but the boredom was inexistent when I leveled SAM. In fact, it got more fun past 62...

    Maybe you just dont like the job?

    Personally I feel like after casting Ver Ligntning or Air they should add an effect akin to "Reduce the recast time on your next spell by 1sec"
    Waiting 2.5 after every big spell kinda break the flow and make the visual look more clunky.

    Personally I am incredibly bored by Rdm. It was fun at first, cause the mix of ranged and melee was new, but the lackluster rotation killed it for me fast. Not even on 70 it changes, you basically keep doing the same stuff on 70 than you did on 50. It never changes up its routine and not even the skill gotten at max lvl adds complexity.

    If you time your manafication and embolden right, you can fit two verfinishers in the space of one embolden. Even without embolden's buff, you push two burst phases virtually back to back for immense payoff.
