Housing in this game is something I enjoy immensely. When there's no other content for me to run I would decorate and re-decorate my house frequently. I have four retainers full of nothing but housing items. I've literally looked forward to this for months. I stayed up the entire night to be ready. I was even sketching plans in a notebook for what I intended to do with a house when I obtained it. Then 5am rolled around annnnnd...log-in queue! Not unexpected, but surely some houses will still be available by the time I get in, right? WRONG. Every single house (including the ones vacated by relocating) sold out in less than 20 minutes! This is completely unacceptable. I know already how futile it is for me to sit here typing this, but I couldn't sleep anyways at this point, so might as well. I have played this game and been subbed continuously since the launch of ARR in August 2013. For the first time since then I really truly feel like unsubbing, and not just for a month.

Same here, and I have already unsubbed. I'm encouraging others to do so as well, so we can get the message across to SE that this is unacceptable for an MMO.

Pretty sure a lot of people are un-subbing or planning to from this. Cosmetics and stuff like this are a major deal breaker to a lot of people. Personally I already dropped my sub. I don't have to support a game where the main feature I'm interested in isn't something I can obtain. I was excited to try and get my FC a house, even a medium house, for the first time in 3 years. Still nothing to show for our work, the server switch and everything else we have tried to do in order to get a house (while refusing to support the house flippers).

They are not going to listen to words but if enough people stick to their word in removing their sub I'm sure they'd listen to the numbers dropping. It is uncalled for when free to play mmos can support a functioning housing system for all their players and a game boasting about 10 million subs cannot.

I agree. Needs to be better handled. I had a house early on when personals came along because I was ready and hopeful for its release. Saved up enough with me and 1 friend to try to get our small house to a large. Not even a chance in shirogane much less older locations. After all not like many had to give up their space.

Either it needs to get a steady stream of housing wards built up between patches for the subs you guys have that stick around after this, or something needs to be revamped like seperation between personal and FC at the least without needing to add more wards but still “double” the housing.

Sorry for any errors in my writing I was up all night to try for this to only get shut down in under 25 mins in diabolos and having some people act horribly such as the very first 1 laughing at me because I check for the house. Damn me for trying people. Feel the salt SE, feel the salt.
