Left-leaning FC with zero tolerance for harassment

I've had a reoccurring problem with joining Free Companies and finding out that a large majority of the userbase hold incredibly racist/sexist/homophobic views, or are otherwise just not very kind people. I have an equally large problem with finding out that the leadership of these Free Companies refuse to take a stand regarding various issues, such as in-company harassment and stalking, and to be completely honest, I'm sick of it.

I'm gauging interest for creating a Free Company on Balmung that's relatively left leaning, with a zero tolerance policy for harassment, racism, sexism, and otherwise inflammatory and targeting behavior.

Please let me know if you're at all interested.

I can say as co-founder and officer that we have zero tolerance with racism, harassments or any kind of hostile atitude towards our members and friends. I do not play much on Balmung these days, and I suspect our timezones do not match anyway so my interest is somewhat limited as it stands.
That being said it does sound nice, and if I had been looking for an FC on Balmung I would have been interested.

Join the club, I hate those type of FC's so I became a one man FC. I just help out FC's now or people who need a place temp to belong to and take advantage of some of the FC perks. I wish you luck on forming an FC. My doors are always open if you would like a temp place to belong to.

I hope this is not the issue. Most of balking has always been prone to being open to any kind of person. It also goes both ways as I've met people who tried to push their identity on others in a very strong arm way and try to make every encounter about such issues.

Trying to make a fc that is labeled as left leaning is bringing real life politics into a game that is very open ended and tolerant. The term left leaning just makes it feel political which people play games to get away from real life. Report these people and let them be. I see so many folks that advertise lgbt friendly you should be able to find a home without making a fc that ends up being as intolerant as what you hate.

Honestly, I've seen this once or twice in previous FCs. I find it oddly maddening that folks are ok with someone else being bashed or abused, even indirectly. It's quite annoying. The "Bro" mentality is strong in some FCs. Since I started playing FFXIV from beta, this has been an issue, and as I grew older I decided that it wasn't for me. I've since left that kind of environment and ended up forming my own FC with close friends. It's much more relaxing to be honest.

Why bring outside hate or prejudice to the game? Just play and enjoy the game for what it's for. There's no need to label or group people in FFXIV. We get enough of that in the news and in politics.

If your interested, my FC does not have anything like that, and I'm fairly harsh when it comes to that kind of harassment. The folks here are focused in just simply enjoying the game and the people that they choose to play with. Look me up in game, and perhaps you can join us and enjoy your time in Eorzea. Good luck!

I agree with Locke, and there are communities out there that are nice and not racist/sexist/homophobic. It just might take some bouncing around to find them. I suggest giving Locke's FC a try if you are thinking about joining one. I founded an FFXIV discord server community for FC's that is against toxicity and hate. There are good people out there don't worry. ^.^
