As for a mount, I guess the only thing I have to say about that is not everyone enjoys mounts, but not everyone enjoys weapons either. So, if we are going to get one but not the other, I want the one we are going to get to be something I feel good about having in my inventory.

I wouldn't have minded if they made Ult weapons higher item level than Sav. If it's really that much harder then I think the raiders earned it. Diadem had 280 weapons when Savage was 275 so exceptions can be made.

When you're done with Ultimat Savage, you're done with this tier.

When 4.2 hits, the old weapon will be replaced by the new crafted or primae weapon.

The weapon you get in Ultimate is just a trophy.

Extra stats (which is all materia slots are) is not "extremely special". It is at the start of the patch cycle if you get it from WT, but not from ultimate

The point is that this weapon will probably be better anyway thats special enough don't you think? Not to mention that it would be extremly special if a dropped raid weapon would've 5 slots.

Alta roite has to be the most boring Raid mount to date. No special theme to separate it from any other regular mount. I'd be all for a bahamut mount.

It's just a trophy weapon and ultimately a newer BiS because +40 of any stat you desire can be a plus. Really won't change things, we have over 3 months of this tier left.

Second, for people asking for higher ilvl you must think they only work on one-patch-at-a-time in this game. You'd be silly to think they aren't already working on the next Inter-dimensional Rift (Savage) tier already and have already pre-set the ilvls that it will require/drop.

It's been quite some time that the raiding community ask for harder content for the sake of doing hard content.
According to them, they would do it even without reward.
So why waste time for a big reward if the community says it's not necessary for them?
