    Its not really hearts that get clunky, its the fact Foul is on a set 30s charge with no inffluence of SpS and the issue that we can't get reliable MP ticks to contantly keep our rotation right without having the Foul on Umbral Ice phase. If we go to fast, we get screwed. Thankfully current gear tier doesn't get to that point.

    Honestly... You're kinda right in that regard. I get what YoshiP and team were going for, considering that they stated they wanted to create a reward for doing things HW style, maintaining Enochian for 30s. That said, Foul's free these days so you can fit it into Astral Fire, but it doesn't line up well.

    Honestly, it should be treated as an oGCD for the purposes of its usage. So you can weave it in between your other spells.

    I actually like that idea. Being able to weave foul would also help us on our mobility issues. Though I don't mind being a turret at all, but we should be rewarded by high numbers if we're able to stand still and cast. Personally I'm all for a potency buff. And a magic resistance debuff, maybe coupled with Umbral Hearts.

    We're actually at the start of the turning point where it's not DH over Crit but the opposite in that sense, however you'd want a good amount of both to reach peak potential for jobs in general - especially if you run in synergy comps (i.e. brd, drg, nin, sch and ast). It's not so much that BLM benefits "more" (relatively speaking, crit damage multiplier same for everyone at a given crit score).

    When I came up with the RDM and SMN BiS lists I spent hours just sitting down and comparing what would happen if I changed things up and came across the complicated nature of comparing all the substats together. But what it lead to was the realisation that both jobs could not only share gear for highest damage potential with and without buffs, but also wanted crit to be the highest substat instead of dh. This becomes even more true when thinking ahead for ilvl 370 and ilvl 400.

In general all stats are about as effective on BLM as any other stats. As long as you're melding dhit/crit/det 6's you should be fine.     BLM's casts no longer exceeds 2.8s so, 1917 would actually put you closer to 2.6s.

    agree, ca. 1920 ss (if needed with buff food) feels good...., at 1850 or lower if felt too slow (even if the opener still worked at ca.1850)

    at ca. 2100 the ss is to fast, foul isnt up yet during ice...

    but at the next patch, the ss stat weight probably shift again, making probably ca. 2100 ideal and 1920 too slow

    That would probably mean that you'll want to cast B4 as much as possible to slow down your rotation probably

    With food I'm over the 1920 mark, I cast B4 every time. Unless there's movement or mechanics forcing me to cut my rotation short.
    The rotation feels fluid like that, you can even weave Thundercloud props in without losing a Fire 4. It's just lacking power. I think a potency increase, or even giving us back the potency we used to have, would solve this.
    If you look at Flogs, the top people use Blizzard 4 pretty much in every rotation too now, whether just for foul alignment or to actually yield a dps increase, I don't know (Ps4 so can't test myself).
