Llugen suggests that thundercloud works like how it does in pvp where you get the proc after a certain amount of dmg is done on the enemy he also proposes a similar effect for firestarter where you get the proc after say consuming 3 umbral hearts.
Which honestly is a cool idea since it would mean that we'll have control on the RNG aspect of the procs

Yeah at least they adressed our issues, but really usability of Warriors lol, when I see something as idiotic as the idea of buffing warrior (and it's my 2nd job and I love it but it's completely fine, while DRK was not even adressed) I cannot help but fell afraid they will fail at giving us BLM what we really need.

same here, still worring till its implemented.. (and fear it might help at start of 4.2, than be obsolete soon after for the rest till 4.3....)

Also tbh WAR could kinda use extra dmg since PLD can easily outpace them if WAR makes one single mistake (well DRK can also use more dmg too)

WAR has idd more dmg than PLD, but if you for w/e reason make a single mistake you lose a crapton of dmg and PLD does overtakes you

Yoshida made a stream where he tried to gather an all caster 24 alliance to play Rabanastre. Each party contained 2 SMN 2 RDM 4 BLM to fake 2 Tanks 2 Heals 2 DPS. Basically, the audience kept saying BLM was a bad pick and RDM or SMN would be better.
There was also a discussion where Yoshida didn't really want to use Manashift (wonder why /s).

Dark Knight definitely deserves a good deal of consideration for boosting, but they may very well be nerfing WAR to not be as ridiculous as it is now.

But for now, Black Mage being considered for adjustment makes me all tingly inside.

Hopefully, it'll remain good enough to continue trying to be an omnicaster.
