Smn has many advantages over blm, mobility just being one of them. They have utility+higher damage now, blm history has shown always ends up at the end of the stick (ARR, HW and now SB)
Players are not arguing that blm rotation is more complex, we just have more involved to optimize our dps then all other jobs, and given the fact that all blm brings is raw damage and it is currently lower then smn and Sam... well yeah it's broken

Work much harder than other casters? Do you have at least SMN or RDM at 70? Cause i can agree RDM is easy to play, but w/ SMN you have to manage dots, SF, aetherflow stacks and DW trance. BLm is only a Fire IV spam and refresh when you finish MP. Ultimate Savage is only unfriendly content for BLM, but Deltascape tier is BLM friendly (maybe less O3s).

The only omega savage fight that doesn't feel awful on Blm is o2s. O4s is the worst, far too much movement.
Still, I'm not complaining about that. I like Blm specifically because it's not faceroll easy to max dps on the hard fights. But it's no longer rewarding when you're doing well and are still out dpsd by the other jobs. If I got the fight down as a Blm and manage to play it close to perfection, me and my party should be rewarded by high numbers.

Anyone who says BLM gameplay is "Only FireIV spam and refresh when you finish MP" obviously has no idea what they are talking about. There is absolutely more to the job and anyone who says otherwise doesn't understand that.

^like he said. ppl have no idea how trying to keep enochian up for polyglot is a pain with the limited timer of af/ui. depending when you drop it it could be a matter of waiting 20s more enochian and another 30s for polyglot for foul.
dropping enochian is akind of losing around 300-500dps. your blm have to be on top of the game if he wants to hit hit dps.
now tell me, as a smn, clipping or putting the dot 1-3s early/late will it equated to losing 300-500dps?
i undertand smn has alot of dots going on but is it as punishing like dropping enochian? (dont talk about deaths as every class will drop dps when they die)

If you're gonna compare dropping enochian to something a smn can do at least make it a comparable argument. Like using aether flow with 3 stacks of trail completely wasting it. Mistakes are mistakes. You shouldn't be dropping enochian and you shouldn't be summoning bahamut right before a phase transition

Nope, that's why i've only good % lol. Before speaking, maybe check what other ppl do, like i did w/ you about SMN and RDM.

Can't you use like transpose and after swiftcast/blizzard III/Blizzard IV and go dps again instead to loose Enochian (and polyglot counter)? Maybe i play in a different way than 90% Black mages, or 90% BLM do wrong stuff?

im talking about the upkeep of things and if it drops that what the side effect is. since it was mention earlier smn have dots swt etc etc akind to blm having to keep an eye out for ui/af, enochian, thunder dots etc.
and yes mistakes comes both way. thus why its non sense when it was said blm is is simple f4 refresh spam.

The normal rotation of a BLM is idd easier than what a SMN has to actually do though, that aside BLM has a more of a quick thinking side of things and adaptation than SMN, which can idd considered harder in a way
