Rescue never saved me and killed me multiple times.
all the more reason it should get revamped .. besides it needs to become full instant..
a pity its not been used/helpfull, the idea behind it is actually cool/fun..., just needs a change in its execution design (and made more atractive for healer too)
its like lost potential atm (that could benifit both healer and blm)

I mean, this is a thread about BLM but I'll gently say if your healers never understood the value of Rescue particularly in those fights, then you probably need better healers.
Sorry to sound super elitist, but this is one of the reasons that "everyone's opinion is valid" doesn't pan out in threads like this. I'm not trying to call you out specifically, I'm merely saying that a "Black Mage main" can come in here and say "hurdurr BLM is fine no change luv it way it iz" when all they do is AFK in Limsa in Shisui armor and do gpose screenshots of Enochian/Triplecast (which are badass, btw). AFKing in Limsa in Shisui armor is not inherently wrong, I rather enjoy doing it myself from time to time, but it's wrong to suggest that a person who doesn't experience the highest end content deserves "an equal voice" when considering class balance.
This is a big source of my frustration in the Raise discussion thread; a bunch of BLMs who have no authority whatsoever on the class pretend like they can cite lore/damage as a reason not to have role balance, and then have the nerve to tell ME that I'M the one that doesn't understand the class. But I digress.

You really do sound super elitist. Their voice for casual content should be heard just as your voice (as much as it pains the ears) should be heard for top end content. There's more of them than you, and they're the ones keeping the lights on anyway. I'm sure you realize that though.

They might be the ones "keeping the lights on", but if balance at the high end doesn't even really affect them, then why should they even care? So they get increased potency/mobility/a raise. Awesomesauce.
Being opposed to buffs because they don't perceive that there is an issue is about as bass-ackwards as it can possibly get. I acknowledge that I am a solid BLM but even I am not the best BLM in the game (particularly since it made a ton more sense to jump ship to SMN). You saw what Sfia wrote some 20 pages back in the raise thread, and Sfia really IS the best BLM in the game right now, and he agrees that something needs to be done about the role balance.
This concept would be akin to me me, a slightly above average melee DPS at best, going in and saying that DRG's jump doesn't need its position lock removed because it doesn't affect me when I play it in trial roulette. I don't raid DRG (anymore), so I have literally no authority with which to say something ridiculous like that (nor would I ever, because it absolutely should be removed, but you get the point).

Rescue could be invaluable if they'll implement a kiting mechanic to raids like the balls in lapis lazuli in A11s.
I mean the precedent is there they need simply to adapt it to bioss fights.
Outside of certain fights Awareness is useless and as such the system is working like intended for that.
But there's no place in the game where Drain, Break, Erase or Crutch really have any use because of tuning and/or restriction

You should be entitled to state that opinion, and people should be free to disagree with it. But so many people these days just want to silence all opposing viewpoints. The only authority you need here on a forum is your subscription, and you don't even need that on public forums.

There is plenty of fights where rescue is really usefull. It mainly help PLD because they do not have any gap closers so PLD can get better uptime. I dont think blm need it for anything because they have their own teleports that work similar way and rescue even break the cast if it is used wrong time.

I can be entitled to have that opinion, but that opinion is meaningless and therefore has no need to be considered by the dev team or anyone for that matter.
I'm not interested in "silencing voices", it only makes sense that opinions that have no validity have no place watering down opinions that do. This is pretty basic, I feel. This is sorta like qualified scientists saying "hey we should probably be concerned about climate change in our professional opinion" and joe schmo being like "nah man in my opinion there's no need to worry about climate change because it's still snowing in december." One of those two groups should probably be weighed heavier on this matter than the other.
To continue, this does not make joe schmo invalid as a human, because conversely if he's a plumber and the aforementioned scientists were complaining about their pipes, they would be wise to consult him. He's an expert in the field of plumbing, NOT an expert in the field of climate change. The aforementioned scientists are experts in the field of climate change, NOT the field of plumbing.
Re-apply this whole analogy to class balance at the high end, and you'll hopefully understand why players who don't do high-end content need not voice their opinions on the matter.
