Apparently Anyone Can Remove Paintings from Frames/Easel, Working as Intended?

I had no idea which forum to put this in, apologies if this is the wrong place to ask. Anywho, today I noticed the painting on the easel in our FC house was blank. I had a painting on it and an NPC in front to look like they were actively working on a painting. I didn't remove it and I'm the only one with any kind of furnishing privileges. So, I had an FC mate test it, and they were able to just remove the painting even though they shouldn't be able to. Is this because frames and the easel are interactable objects that anyone can mess with? It just seems like an oversight and an easy way to troll someone. I mean, the paintings are only 1k gil, no huge loss, but very annoying if it keeps happening. If only people in the FC can do this, this item needs some kind of change history so I can at least find out who's doing it. If anyone that comes in your house can do this, this is an even bigger problem.

Visitors can't use interactive items so you should be safe there. I would assume a FC buddy.

That's good at least, but without any kind of change history like you get with the company chest, I have no way of circumventing this. I wouldn't think anyone in my small FC would do this, but I have no way of finding out who's doing it lol.

If you trust your FC then maybe someone did it by mistake without realising? Someone drank some of my red wine once by accident and was too shy to confess...

But if you have doubts it may be best to keep the painting display in your private room, so people can look but not touch.
