Why exactly is Brotherhood still so weak?
Unless Devotion's effect is changed, which I doubt it will be, it's going to be 5% to every party member both magic and physical.

And I know Brotherhood increases our Forbidden Chakra proc chance, but that's RNG. There are time where we'll get absolutely nothing from a Brotherhood window. Especially if we have a caster heavy composition.

So what's up with this? Brotherhood continues to be one of the most underwhelming raid buffs in the game while every other job gets buffs to their raid utility...

Summoner needed buff to be on par with the other caster. Mnk is 3rd best dps ... If they boost their utility they will need to gimp their dps..

And summoner is the only job that their job utility will be boosted..

Because Monk still is one of the strongest DPS in the game I suppose.
And Devotion will surely have a longer CD.

On fflogs only 1 smn beats mnk. And he is best dps for os4. Other than this. Sam, Blm then Mnk for 0s1 to os3 and in every other content.

That is based on all parses uploaded over a two week period. Admittedly, the numbers will be skewed somewhat due to how few Summoners there are currently, but that doesn't change the fact their raw damage is exceptional. They simply don't play well and are extremely punishing in the event of a death. Monk is essentially in a similar boat; damage potential is fine but the job has numerous design flaws in its core gameplay.

That could change. A lot of jobs are getting buffs to their damage while already being vastly superior in raid damage.

People really do underestimate SMM. They're extremely strong right now, being equally as strong or stronger than Monk when played at similar player skill levels.
That's why I'm scratching my head at Devotion getting such a massive buff.

I'm sorry but I don't think there will be anything else, or anything more than "tooltip correction for non positionnal attacks"

The last time they announced changes, for the release of Omegaa, the unannonced changes were really underwhelming for everyone.
