I met my betrothed in a far away land and after much hard work, getting finances in order - and a house - we made arrangements to get married!

I've been playing FFXIV for so long and then I finally met my fiance from another site. I told him about this game and he wanted to try it! I'm so glad he did.

Mad convinced me to play ffxiv when 1.0 came out. We have been together FOREVER, and on the 22nd, we will celebrate our first wedding anniversary!

He put SOO much thought into his outfit....

This month marks a year since my partner and I met in that marriage thread, and (despite a few fantasias here and there...) we've been inseparable ever since.

We got married as our 1.0 characters right when Eternal Bonding came out Our wedding used up max amount of invites hehe











But now we changed when 3.0 came out..to Au Ra and Midlander..Meier and Charlotte ^^

The only image of the wedding to survive my transfer to a better PC. All the others got wiped (which wasn't supposed to happen). Haven't been a Miqo'te since the Au Ra were introduced. o_o We didn't have a dress code/request either - everyone happened to decide to come dressed similarly, but color coded.

A friend of mine challenged me and fellow Free Company Officer (and good friend) Tenrai Nagi to perform the Eternal Bonding ceremony together, so we pulled all the stops and pulled a prank on our friends and Free Company members.

We had Tenrai send out the invites to the ceremony amongst our friends. Whenever we had our friends ask Tenrai who his partner would be, he would throw them off on a wrong track. Keeping them guessing on who he was holding the ceremony with. In the meantime, we would discuss what we should be wearing, which colors we should use, what the venue would look like, following the quests when no one else was online and writing vows while keeping our friends in the dark till the last second.

Only by the time the bells were ringing and the ceremony started, did they found out who Tenrai's partner was. (^_^ ) So, i give you the Eternal Bond Ceremony of Tenrai “The Tail Puller” Nagi and C’rysta Zeith, which took place on the 12th of January 2015:

Both Tenrai and i went full out on the Ceremony, complete with introductions and vows. Since writing the vows were half the fun, i’ll just leave them here. (^_~ )
