Would definitely also be nice on top of these if they added a setting where only people on your friends list/in your FC could enter your house.
this would be awesome, the ability to rid your function of obnoxious intruders would greatly increase enjoyment.
Definitely something that's needed. Not even just for troublemakers - I was trying to relinquish my house so that I could buy another, and my friend had gone afk unexpectedly, in the downstairs area of my house. I couldn't boot her out, and I couldn't relinquish with her inside, so I lost out on the house I was trying to buy. We should have the ability to remove people as we need to.
Not a bad idea. Hope that can be implemented in 4.xx
+1. Bonus if we can get ghost Edda to appear and "escort the target" out after the house owner decided to boot! Well, Halloween's near, no? :3
I respectfully disagree with the addition of the removal from the house feature.
Black list and reporting is fine, we don't need any additional features to kick others from houses.
The best solutions are to report and blacklist, as opposed to creating a new feature to remove users from houses. Reporting for harassment takes GM members only hours to reply and act on the issue. We have more capacity to blist users and turn off public chat.
While it's a nice idea, I feel the Dev team needs to focus on the larger issue of housing altogether
Before adding features, I feel we need to fully change the housing system in XIV because the current one does have issues, especially the lack of limitations of owning plots. (People can own an entire ward Gil permitting) as an example.
I feel and hope SE focuses on these larger issues with housing, while I'm sorry that these users are disrupting your housing area, I feel the blist feature is the best solution.

There are people who would troll simply because they can and/or feel like it. I was once visited by a group of hot tub lovers consisting of one male roe and 2 miqote ladies at our fc house taking a dip in our hot tub. Granted they are the random visitor RP kind of players so it wasn't bad. I show them around the fc house and had some small talk and laughter with them before they moved on to the next location, so it's all good and stuff. But what if it were a group of trolls that just show up and ERP all over the FC house instead? Granted that didn't happen but I sure as hell would appreciate the option to boot and lock them out if they refuse to stop and leave after I ask them politely.
I am surprised this isn't already a feature. This should have been added when houses were.
I like this. For the 2nd idea to work though it would probably have to be a seperate blacklist just for the house. Otgerwise you might run into a problem where like 1 admin has blisted someone but the rest of the fc has them as a friend.
The house blist could have rules for who can and cant add characters to it and such. Dont need a troll joining a fc then blisting the rest of the guild or something.
