Well, since it's apparently a part of the lore now, Halicarnassus in Haukke Manor was named as such because of how 'similar' she was to the Halicarnassus in the FFV fairytale (I think this was mentioned on the lore panel). So going by that, I think it'll be fine... maybe.

Anyway, the final boss of the Ivalice raid appears to be of the Zodiac sign, Taurus. Chaos is Taurus in FFXII, but since that doesn't look like Chaos at all... Duma (and Exodus will probably be 'Sel,' if it makes an appearance in the future).

I highly doubt it's the case. One Tales From The Dragonson War sidestory has their feud dealt with, with Lolorito surrendering Teledji's assets and half of his own wealth to the crown. The two are in good terms, for now, as long Nanamo doesn't try to cause another..... instability.

I can only assume that we'll need Lolorito for his connections, to what end I'm still not sure but it may have something to do to counteract possible Garlemald's hostile response after Ala Mhigo liberation. The man once did try to stop the Empire's invasion with his wealth.

The summoning maybe Lakshmi again, given the presence of the Qalyana. I'm also curious if the Resistance we face maybe one of the many factions. We only interacted with Conrad's faction, so I wonder if it's the case.

I suspect the Colosseum scene is a recollection by Pipin, and I think the lalafell's line — "Is this truly what you want?" — possibly comes from Pipin's tale, recalling the moment when he was taken aback that Raubahn had worked to secure his liberty before his own.

And, oh, it seems that the WoL finally confronts the lalafell who's been stalking Nashu since Heavensward.

Hasn't that Lala been skulking around since one of the early 2.0 Hildibrand quests? (no idea if he was in the 1.x ones)

At this point Lolorito is neither an antagonist nor a good guy, if his intent was to gain power he already had the chance and decided not to take it, his only intent is money and by being in our good side he's making a lot of it, we even indirectly help him through two side quests, one where you help his... niece? in Kugane, and another where you facilitate illegal trade between his company and the confederation, on top of him likely trying to be the first to make trade deals with the two cities you liberated. As long as he's gaining something from it he's not gonna work against us.

I have been beyond happy with this trailer, my only complaint it's too short! Let's freak out frame by frame now...

Meeting Lolorito in the Waking Sands where a statue of the man is right outside is all too fitting. What could him and Nanamo be on about? Perhaps the coming instability in the Syndicate now that Raubahn's homeland is free what happens next for the sole Royalist?

"We the people" immediately conjures to mind what I suspect kind of government Raubahn will suggest. Arenvald continuing to be a Scion-in-Action in Ala Mhigo is nice.

Will Skalla feature in the MSQ? Eh, I don't think! The nightmarish Manticore and ridiculous portrait of a man call to mind Maduin for some reason unknown to me though.

The Echo scenes should be Lyse and Fordola whinging about an Ala Mhigo for all and give us some backstory for Fordola. The man protecting her seems to share the same tattoo. I feel with the woman looking on in verity gear while a man in verity gear protects her are her ... parents? Her father shielding her from the scorn and stones of other Ala Mhigans as they've enlisted her in Garlean education, probably wanting their daughter to have a better life.

Recreation of Raubahn winning his seat on the Syndicate! Yess!! Is this truly what you want Father? FOR ME TO BECOME THE NEXT FLAME GENERAL?

Every shot of Unending Coil shows a dead player, lol. They really expect it to be difficult! (Including the party being chained to the dead player before Teraflare, yikes)

What the hell is going on in the Throne Room? (I speak for the Resistance sounds so much like a Lorax "I speak for the trees" here Lyse) That the Qiqirn are represented gives me hope we'll see them in coming Beast Tribe dailies finally. Fordola has an Echo vision... perhaps the Resosnant will show us the Future!? It very much sounds like a Primal and Tempering occurs... but which? Our new "shield others" technique getting use with Arenvald's help though I wouldn't write too much on the Blue Flames being another Lakshmi.

Rival Wings looks exciting and I enjoy that it's "training exercises against Machina for battles vs Garlemald" Obviously we're prepping for a foray to Ilsabard!?

The clawed hand holding what looks auracite engraved with the Taurus symbol while Trisection plays and we fight Hashmal and Mateus and Ba'Gamnan!? Who is the man in the Sharlayan coat kidnapped by Bangaa we rescue who speaks to Ramza and this redhead? They've melded the different eras of Ivalice well so far, but this man ... Arazlam? Dycedarg? Some likely new character!?

Taurus matches with ... Chaos, I think for Ivalice Espers--I wonder if Keita's charioteer is XIV's rendition of Chaos? Truthfully I'd be a little letdown though, lol. Chariot, Hashmal, Mateus is only 3 bosses, unless Ba'Gamnan is the 4th, this'd be the first time we didn't see every 24-man boss in the preview, I think. To go from massive Espers to some Bangaa would be kind of a letdown, though lol. Original Lucavi names would be very nice, Duma, yes but then we run into the issue of the Pisces Leviathan. Considering Leviathan's already dubious relationship with Thalaos, maaaaaaaaannnnnnnn

Mateus is Pisces and Ba'Gamnan is most likely going to be the final boss (he most likely becomes the Taurus Lucavi). He's the one holding the Zodiac Stone in the trailer.

Of all the potential Lecavi/Espers appearing in this raid, I think only Chaos (reference to FFI's Chaos), Exodus (obviously Exdeath) and Zeromus (reference to FFIV's Zeromus) will be given their 'Ivalice' names from FFT (Duma, Sel and Zebbeb), while the rest keep their XII names.

Or maybe (unlikely) it's Mitron the Chastiser, Scion of Light (assuming Scions of Light and Dark share the same Zodiac sign).

They've used the Light Scion names, including Mitron, for Ascians already. It's not a zero chance, but I feel like that'd be much weirder than Halicarnassus. I feel Exodus could work, but agree Zeromus and Chaos should be left alone. I forgot about Mateus being the Piscean Esper in XII, woops! And good catch on the Ba'Gamnan hand, it didn't even occur to me to scrutinize his grubby little paws, lol

I'm also of the opinion that despite being involved with a theatre company and the odd ruined Rabanastre concept art (and Garlemald destroying it) it's not a Minstrel Ballad canon thing...Cid being there with Ramza and our rescued Sharlayan-robed captive seems to cement to me that it might be something that's actually happening. That Raven reporter there too is something that influences me to think it's "real," a tabloid reporter doesn't often make for a good hero in bardic tales, eh? The garb says Raven and we know Kipih Jakkya is a Miqo'te in their employ but the hair colour isn't right... we also know that the various tabloids of Eorzea played a part in another crossover w/ Lightning Returns!

I'm wondering if the resistance member that General Aldynn killed was a disguised corpse brigade member. I imagine that they might want to have control over how Ala Mhigo is governed. Most likely so that they can create another mad king, or just mess with the people of Ala Gryrria. They have to be having a big role in it since they are becoming more active according to the various NPCs and the leader of Little Ala Mhigo.

The Corpse Brigade was kind of active in the MNK quests... but Milleuda, the leader of the Corpse Brigade, survives her FATE in Southern Thanalan and her namesake is from Tactics... so it's not a stretch that she'll come back with the coming Ivalicean content on the rise!
