I wonder if anyone noticed that the unnamed chariot boss uses a skill around 3:46 of the trailer that is the same animation of a skill unique to Meliadoul and other Divine Knight special job characters in FFT which destroys it's target's helm equipment (named unimaginatively Crush Helm). If the boss is a human turned Lucavi, that might open up his identity to other options. It's even possible this boss might not have anything to do with the Taurus Lucavi- after all, he looks absolutely nothing like a bull, and most if not all Zodiac Espers usually have something that identifies each to their zodiac.

Hmmm, y'know, you could be right on that (the final boss not being a Lucavi at all). Though I'm still willing to believe that our Bangaa (not) friend will become a host to the Taurus Lucavi. I only have the wiki to go by (because I don't have a PSP and FFT never came out in Australia on the PS1), but aren't the Lucavi capable of possessing people once they touch the Auracite?

It's possible the host had to have a certain compatibility with the stone (as shown with Virgo and Alma) or had to enter a pact with the stone (shown with Aries and Wiegraf) in order for possession to take place, but that is generally correct. I do think that Ba'gamnan ends up becoming the Chariot boss, what with all the lizard-like scales on the boss' artwork, but I'm still not convinced he uses to Taurus stone to do it, if only because if he did, you would think he would be riding a bull instead of some kinda demon horse lizard thing. Lol the artwork is so much closer to how Exodus looks as well. Maybe him being a Bangaa affects the transformation? That would be strange though...

Maybe. Just watching the trailer again: the Bangaa jump down from an airship, take someone hostage (Hyur/Hume/meatbag), appears to be holding something (Auracite obvs) and then shoots. What if the Chariot Abomination is actually a guardian and is also the third boss and we've yet to actually see the final boss/Lucavi.

Wouldn't that be neat~

Yeah, only 3 bosses were shown in the trailer, and none of the trash packs/minibosses.

I'm most excited about the new raid - I adore Ivalice and it seems like it's going to be a love letter to fans of the setting. The new dungeon interests me a great deal as well - the interior of the ruins look surprisingly intact which makes me wonder if there were survivors down there who were trapped and could not get out, thus resorting to dark measures in an effort to preserve themselves. It could explain why there's sinister looking creatures occupying the place at present.

There's something that's making a lot of noise for me after rewatching the trailer. When first walks in to Fordola's cell, she's carrying a sword (Fordola's, if I remember correctly) and it's right in the middle of the camera; after it switches to Ala Mhigo, then when we come back to Lyse and Fordola, the sword is nowhere to be seen. Could be just a goof or could be Lyse giving Fordola back her sword for...some reason?
