    Yeh it's interesting. Blizzard acknowledged that these kind of games are pretty much a big collection of niches. The scope of mmos is so broad that people are joining for a whole variety of reasons, cherry picking this and that thing to their tastes. Almost every type of content is only hitting a minority fraction of the total userbase.

    edit: except japan maybe. Yoshida said jp players of this game are being completionists a lot more than the western audience, where mono-gameplay is a lot more common like ppl who only raid, or only craft.
