To give people more incentive to keep playing and trying to clear it. It's like the hardest difficulty in a lot of games, where you get hit once, you're almost dead, twice and you restart from the checkpoint. While other games, you get hit once(in the toe even) and you die, starting over the ENTIRE level, not just from last checkpoint which could be the room right before the final encounter in it.

If they did it as I am suspecting(and I don't do the savage raids, so there is 0% chance of me attempting it in the first place), then it will likely be harder than most, if not all, of the next tier of Omega.
