We actually know quite a bit about the new PvP mode they are introducing in 4.15. So far all we know of Eureka is some art work that made it look like the sea of clouds, and that it will be the way we are intended to get our relic weapon. So it could just be fates but who knows.

I can't agree more with the OP! I only get on to raid now, all the casual "content" available isn't fun. Considering it's going to take ~4 months for the next raid tier I don't have high hopes for the game.

On top of that! Japanese game devs like the team for FFXIV never look at other games and only use their own ideas, so I doubt it's going to improve.

Yoshi loves WoW....he even made the Dev team play it at one point for inspiration....

Both him and Koji-fox even said that the reason 1.0 flopped was partly because the dev team didn't played wow and got in touch with what was considered the king of the market

That by itself it's not bad.

Correct me if I am wrong here, since i saw the documental a while ago and i do not have the information fresh in my head. But i think they did that to get out of the FFXI box and see why other games were having success at the time. Where I want to get it is that there is no mistake to get ideas from other sources to renew itself, even if that game is disliked by some.

I'm looking through the patch notes and am scratching my head thinking "How can anyone consider this empty?" Now, granted, there are a lot of QoL fixes, but this patch seems packed full of stuff that multiple different players can do. So...what's the problem now?

People want all the content catered to them and their ideas, anything outside of that is a waste to them.

also people reacted like this 'cause of the pushback of stuff in the live letter, without anything to really go on.
