The Goblet has always been my favorite housing area (at least in the Brimming Heart). But I do hope they change the direction the sun comes up in the main wards. It has the sun travel directly behind the windmill creating huge moving shadows over the entire brimming heart area for a large chunk of the day and night. It can be rather disorienting. The subdivisions do not have this problem as the sun travels a different path in the sky. I didn't see the shadows in the recent video showing the updates to the Goblet so I hope they fixed this.

Goblet Plot 43 has shadow issues in the subdivision. I get constant windmill shadow from the spinning propellers. The Goblet has always been my favorite housing area (at least in the Brimming Heart). Personally... not a fan? I know, it doesn't always work to argue realism into games, but, you've got this bigass waterfall coming down, and, as far as I can see, its only outlet now is a single small sewer drain. I failed to closely examine the other end, but it sorta looks like the water just appears before spilling over the ledge, without any source (which was previously the waterfall).
I kinda get the reasoning behind most of the design choices and everything, but it still feels very obviously out of place / tacked on. Looks great, though, aside from that.
Oh, I love the new Goblet Roman Pool! It is Beautiful! I swim in it every day! It portrays a wonderful addition of what Ul'dah and the Goblet represent - wonder if Lord Lolo had a hand in the renovation?? I do think Nanamo had a few words to say about the design. It has a great area now with tall stools and bars with bottles of drink, fruit, and pickled foods. Would be a very nice place to have a fc, friend and family party!
I just went there and took a look around. It's coming right out of the apartment building. I really love the look but that's kind of messed up when you put thought into it xD[...] you've got this bigass waterfall coming down, and, as far as I can see, its only outlet now is a single small sewer drain. They spent Teledji's gil well.![]()
I'm loving the Goblet now. I was set to aim for Shirogane but, with the hopefully more wards coming I may aim for the Goblet instead.

The facelift looks amazing. However, there is one thing that's bothering me. In the very center there is a small round pond that has a pillar in the center and small pots circling it.
They left this untouched which makes it even more of an eyesore now. My suggestion would be to add the turquoise tiles to it, add small flowers or cacti to the pots and add a small water feature to the pillar. That would truly make it a pretty centerpiece.
