But that's also another limited storage space that takes from being able to store something else in there. The Mogstation items are all bought with cash, it'd be nice if cash purchases didn't count against limited inventory options. The Armoire seems like the best option given how it works.

Exactly. Glamour Dresser allows 200 items altogether. At the moment, there are soooo many glamour items around that are over 200 pieces, considering peoples like to mix & match outfits.

My initially reply was regarding this statement right here:
it would be great to be able to put the Mogstation gears into Armoire to be used with the Glamour Dresser without losing the item, since we paid to have these glamour items, we should be able to store them somewhere safely.
Now, I didn't say it was the ultimate solution, just that you'll be able to be more choosy with what you put in the dresser as a whole since you'll be able to retrieve items at will.

I'm not saying the system doesn't need to be fixed; because it most certainly does, but with this change they are allowing you to store your mogstation items somewhere that won't devalue them; which is better than nothing at current. Personally, I will be putting most if not all of my mogstation items in the dresser, as I can freely craft most of my other things should I need them again (were I to get rid of them by accident or what have you), and the rare drops I have I already keep safeguarded in a single retainer. It's sad we have to resort to these measures, but it's far from the worst thing possible I'd say.

Yet, while you're request and desires would be wonderful, unfortunately, as Yoshida has already explained, adding items to the armoire isn't a simple process at all. When you put an item in there it is effectively destroyed and when you retrieve it you attain a new copy of that item, this is why dyes are not saved in the armoire and why they gear ahs to be at 100% durability. You're essentially throwing the item away, not storing it. So understanding that, we've gleamed and been told that items have to be individually added to the armoire to activate that functionality and he's said its a time consuming process, so they have to approach it slowly.

Enabling storage in the Armoire is essentially flipping a single bit in a larger data structure with a system that knows what that bit means.

Scratch after this point, I flubbed the math. Point still stands that "do I have this? y/n" is not as complicated problem as what they insinuate and it shouldn't be this hard to add more items. Especially items which users of paying for.
