Please remove the EXP from PVP!

As the title say's, Please remove the exp reward all to gather from pvp. Its nothing but freaking bots there now and its totally not fun anymore when you try and have fun only to be forced to take a exp penalty cause people want to use bots and warp all over the freaking map killing others. Its not fun anymore please either fix this issue by disable all emotes/following in pvp or just remove the exp all to gather. I rather have a 10+min wait time for real pvp then a quick pvp fight that has no fun.

No need to flush the baby with the bath water. The issues you mention are flaws in the game, not its systems. The cheating must be stopped, not the exp. Removing the EXP doesn't change the cheating, there will always be people that will cheat so long as any form of progression exists (PVP rank), let alone those who just enjoy the thrill of essentially 'PKing' by fighting unfair.

Instead removing exp how about removing botters first? slap some permabans and it should stop at some point. I have been waiting this since 2.3 when pvp was added to the game, now i can finally level jobs that i have no plans to ever use in pve.

This was proven entirely false once they removed GC restrictions. I had 5-10 minute queues for Shatter up until the day maintenance happened for early access to Stormblood.

Incidentally also the time when they introduced the Garo event: Patch 3.5. I got my Field Commander set in that time by simply persistently queuing for Seal Rock and nabbing some of the roulette using masses for myself *cough*

It died down near the end - Seal Rock died first, 8vs8 was getting ever more shaky then at some point I got 24 man Shatter matches quite consistently. But this is EU hours talking, I doubt it was quite as severe at US primetime.

Sure a tiny portion of the playerbase would continue to queue. but queues already can last half an hour for pvp RIGHT NOW at non peak times. do you really want em longer?

At non-peak times I definitely get >30 min queues. I'm back to 5 hour+ queues only to get into one 24man Shatter game per night at best. But everyone finished the GARO event ages ago by now, and everyone has all of the worthwhile rewards from Shatter if they were ever going to get them since PVP rewards are so scarce compared to the ease of collecting mostly-useless Wolf's Marks. The new mode should make things interesting again soon as it will give everyone more reason to get back in the queue, and hopefully they'll add more rewards that take time to achieve to keep people interested.

Ban the botters, don't punish everyone just because a minority on some servers can't obey simple rules. The experience is a fun bonus and botting is cheating no matter what the incentive. Baffled to hear that it's still a problem. How many jobs do these people even need to level so desperately that they'd risk their account to do so?

They should remove EXP based on Win/Lose and go back to 4.0.
It was the wrong idea to set the EXP reward based on if you lose or win. Just give the same amount of EXP, no matter what.
