i like the idea, i think it needs to be expanded on though. why no blizzard combos? why no extra special effect for completing combos? in due time i guess.

15 abilities each? what is this... Kindergarten?A jack of all trades WHM... what is this 1989?
I was talking about a new battle regiment system which would be a bit more easy to work with. Though the old one wasn't that hard as long as everyone knew what they were doing.
Anyway, I think it is extremely sad if some teamwork with strangers is too much to ask.

vote here if you like cheese.
that being said, the combo system isn't bad, it takes awhile to get used to, but once you get positioning down, they work great.
I think the combo system is a good idea and pretty well implemented at least for the classes I play. I dont see it as a replacement for battle regimen and we need something that is more focussed for use in a party.
With the exception of Archer, having people dart all over the battlefield in a party just to position themselves for their combo looks retarded imo.
Coupled with the fact that some mobs have powerful directional attacks that you really wouldnt wanna catch the back end of if your combo timing put you in the line of fire.
so basically...
Combo system = great for solo
Battle Regimen (or whatever its replacement will be called) = great for party (assuming it is implemented well)
