[Dev Request] Group Pose Wishlist

Group Pose, more commonly referred to as /gpose in-game, is probably one of my favorite non-battle related features of FINAL FANTASY XIV.

We've seen a variety of updates to this tool since it was introduced, so I figured I'd start a thread of requested features specifically for the /gpose function.

Here's the game plan:

• Only post one idea per comment, if you don't mind.
• If somebody posts a suggestion you'd like, "Like" their post.
• If you have an idea that no one has posted yet, make a new post.

I figure this way the dev team can see what features are most popular & requested and they can get an idea of what should be prioritized, if implemented!

To start, I'd like to reference a suggestion I saw on Twitter:

Implement a "Slow Motion" button for emotes and actions!
It can be difficult to capture the perfect action shot by trying to hit "Pause" at the precise moment you want. A Slow Motion addition is a simple solution, and could also be used creatively for GIFs and videos.

Teleport, it looks cool. But stopping it or teleporting to the same area doesn't let you see the teleport animation in gpose.

Implement a way for us to control the weather and/or time of day in /gpose.

Toggle Speaking Animations On / Off
This would be a useful feature for content creators who would like to record video while in /gpose for spoken scenes!

More Lighting Options

• Target-Specific Lighting
• A lighting "slider", instead of having 3 options of brightness and limited "in-between"
• A color "slider" for lighting shades and hues

A feature that allows custom posing and facial expressions for your character in /gpose. I've been playing around with Source Filmmaker lately, so I been thinking about this for a while.

Pet Animation Triggers
It would make taking shots of their animations easier, such as Paissa Brat falling over or Odder Otter taking his hat off to look around.
