Pug Battle Irregular effect

Was doing a company leve as Pugilist in Bald Knoll with elementals to kill, so seeing a lightning elemental i put on fists of earth, all is going well until i kill it when i realize i have shock casted on me from the elemental. Well that is not irregular, what is though is that my MP is going down even with fists of earth/fire are off and i'm in passive more. My mp will continally decrease as if fists of earth was still on until the debuff effect on me wears off.

I can reproduce this instace any time i fight any mob that has debuffs like shock/burn/dia/bio/poison etc...

Pug lvl 38, (it doesnt matter what level, this has been happening since 1.20 came out)

This is reoccurring and very easy to notice.
