To me it sounds like you and your squadron will get specific dungeon just made for that feature, seeing how there is special LB it kinda feels non-regular dungeon and more like PotD like dungeon that is not part of normal instances.

It's more likely that they start with level 50 dungeons right away. Your squadron is already level 50 and to even have squadrons you need to have done Aurum Vale.It would not surprise me if they hit us with the first 3 low level dungeons as the only accessible Squadron areas. Then by the end of SB, we'd at best be able to bring them to the end of ARR MSQ dungeons. A rather lacklusterthought if that were true, given the pace of such dungeon access release, but the devs aren't exactly well-known for proper execution of new, yet very simple, ideas. See Diadem and The Hunt for just a couple references.
I don't see a point in running Sastasha with the Squadron...
people do it once for the first time (no squadrons available) and then maybe with another job. But most likely not even that, because leveling in that level range (15-20) is damn frickin fast.
Also I guess it's easier to have the squadron have a fix ammount of skills/abilities instead of programming different behaviour for every level step until 50.
I guess this feature will be more connected with the squadron system itself (doing a weekly/daily limited ammount of 'quests' or at least limited in regards to rewards) and not like the 'unsynch feature' something you activate and just do a dungeon with that feature.

The MMORPG you imply is no more. Modern MMORPGs put emphsize on solo experiences as much as they do on multiplayer. FFXIV was never a game that only emphasized the multiplayer aspect. It was a game that first and foremost attempts to entertain. It does not limit itself to what an MMORPG should be, instead exploring what it can be.
Gaming, and entertainment as a whole, is converging. We should be glad that the pitty distinction of single player and multi-player isn't blocking out their mind and preventing them from producing content that may shatter a few people's ridig perspectives of what games should be like.
“There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.”
― Ernest Hemingway
Reading this it makes you wonder if people actually know what they are talking about if they analyse the facts before going on an unfunded rants. Plus 4.1 is not here... Why not wait then judge? Too much free time on your hands? Bored?
Not everyone is super social and good at making friends, but still really enjoys playing the game, and maybe don't have the time to wait 30+ mins for DPS queues, so if this helps people out I don't see the problem. People who enjoy the multiplayer aspect of this game will still play it as they always have, so again don't see the problem. Surely SE catering the game to a larger group of people is beneficial to everyone? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i think it's fun for those that imagine their own adventures when roleplaying, if you dont like, dont play

i for one am looking forward to this addition its something to change up the formula of the games experience. on note of dungeons and rewards i don't think the dungeons they are referring to are the dungeons we are familiar with but something different entirely may even be like what we see in the mainstory solo instances we've done up to now. as far as rewards go i think all we'll get is experience points and GC seals, possibly get more of those GC specific items that the squads bring back from missions as well.
I think you guys give SE too much credit on this and the option to deploy your squadron into the dungeons which you can join with.
Neither will it fix queue 'issues' the DPS seem to complain about, as most likely there will be cooldowns on how often you send them out per week. I wager about 3 runs, max, until you have to wait for it to reset.
They are for enjoying a different take on squad adventuring, and not being a bandaid for a problem the community caused in the first place.
Nah, the "limit" is gonna be the fact you won't be able to use them in Roulettes. Sure you can run certain dungeons with them, dungeons that may be of help getting characters from 1-60 but past that you'll have to level with friends. You earn a lot more xp doing Roulettes then you would just running the dungeons, so even if you have the opportunity to enter the dungeon with Squadron you are still limited by their AI which means it might take 30-40 mins to complete something that would take 20-25 mins to complete.
