Fastest DPS to quest with

Samurai is the highest individual DPS right now in the game followed by Monk and Black Mage.
I won't recommand Monk because you have to do positionnals to output the best dps possible. Won't recommand Black Mage either cause he's a turret, need to move and lack of self heal, even though he has a barrier.
Samurai sounds like a good option.

Otherwise, Red Mage is a good option. Not the very best dps but easiest rotation to learn, very good damages, mitigation and self heal.
Probably one of the best dps to do solo content.

Ah, but the thing is, this alt hasn't reached 50 yet so no Samurai or Red Mage for me. I considered Monk as well but as you said, positionals are required for top DPS and you can't exactly properly perform them in 1v1 situations.
I was intending on going Samurai after 50.

Yeah... It sucks not having a good self heal on most other DPS. Makes anything solo a chore
