Running in stormblood changed... (can it be changed back?)

We've all noticed it in towns and raids right?
Like how people run...stop...run stop, right?

I think they wanted to fix something like constant running and instead made it look bad in the opposite way.
Was I the only one who noticed this?

To see this right now you just have to go to a town and see people moving through town and it's so obvious.

That's what lag looks like. With a solid internet, there is no stop-starting.

It's lag. I have crappy internet, so I see it a lot. Plus, I play so much my frequently used keys like to suddenly stop working mid run, which causes the same look as lag.

Seen this before, and yes, it means you're lagging. It's a problem on your end, nothing changed with the game.

You are lagging when you see that. Nothing has changed to the sprint, it is as smooth as it ever was.

Sorry for confusion but I didn't mean sprint, I meant running/jogging.

Also I know how lag looks, this isn't lag. It's something I noticed in hw how sometimes people stop and keep jogging/running in place for a few seconds. But then in sb they did the opposite, they tried to make us stop too suddenly so sometimes/a lot of times it looks as if we're stopping when jogging to places (towns and in raids). Hmm maybe some other people noticed this in heavensward (how it would make you run in place just by sliding to the side) but then in stormblood they changed it to complete opposite so it affects people jogging/running also. I might be wrong but I know it's not lag.

I have not seen this issue you are describing. It sounds like internet latency on your end, or possibly a lot of people using controllers. I've noticed ps4 users tend to start-stop a lot, and not because of lag.

Worn out buttons/sticks, muscle spasms, needing to move hand away from controller to quickly type something...just to name a few reasons it could happen(all of which were reasons I would have that type of situation...and I play on PS4 with the controller)
