2 chest and a weekly lookout are an exaggeration.
there are 7 categories of job: this means a player has 1/7 chance per chest to find something for his/her character.

Some considerations:
DPS:
- Maiming is DRG only
- Scouting is NIN only
- Casting is for RDM, BLM, SMN
A raid can have 4 different dps: i.e. 1 striking, 1 casting, 1 maiming, 1 aiming) BUT it has:
- 2x healing - 2x fending
A tank/healer has always another competitor.
The % to have an item for your job are low (2/7 per week), and some job has 50% chance to win because competition.

This system is unfair and it needs (a lot of) improvement.
1. if you are lucky you have the floor items in a single kill.
If you are unlucky after 8 kill you have only 8 datalog (and I don't know what to buy because I hope for a drop).
2. 2 roles (tank and healer) have always a lower chances to win something.
3. buy an item with datalog is expensive.

I hope you take this feedback into consideration and improve the system.
